recap

This is my first monthly recap in a long time! After school blew up into craziness, I just didn’t have much going on here to warrant a monthly recap.

Books Read:

7 books + 1 novella

Favorite Book Read:

Gahh. I read a lot of good books this month. I’ll have to say Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo! Such a brilliant and amazing trilogy ender!

Reviews on the Blog:

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green – the one that didn’t affect me nearly as much as I expected

Thief by Tarryn Fisher – the one where everything comes together in a crazy series ender

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson – the one with the amazing friendships

Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo – the one with all the brilliant fantasy things!

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover – the one that surprised me how much I loved it

Features:

My BEA Recap Post – the one where I got to relive the awesome week that was BEA

TTT: Top Ten On My Summer TBR – the one where I list my hopeful summer reads!

TTT: The Cover Trend I Dislike – the one where I discuss a generic cover trend

Favorite Things in June:

Sorry, I fail at this section this month. I’m drawing a blank. :/

  1. Okay so first of all, I really hope someone IS working on learning how to Apparate because it would truly make my life easier lol. Second, you aren’t the first person I’ve heard say that TFIOS didn’t effect them like they thought it would. I’m just a huuuuge wuss so I was…a mess haha. And lastly, I reaaaally want to read Since You’ve Been Gone as I’ve read Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour and I liked that one quite a bit if you haven’t I’d say give it a go, it’s the same author (you probably already know that though…lol) And now to Apparate to the next blog….*POOF*

    It didn’t work 🙁

  2. Oh man I hope they are working on discovering how to apparate too cause that would save SO much time and make life a hell of a lot easier XD You look like you had a fabulous, albeit busy month. I still need to read Shadow and Bone myself (I know, it’s shameful right?) but I own a copy and plan on diving in soon! Here’s to an more relaxed and bookish July…with the discovery of apparition. Hopefully!
