I’m excited to join in some reading challenges this year! I’m doing a total of 3. That’s doable, right? Three? I hope so! First up…

I was so excited to see Kelly and Hannah’s Re-Read Challenge because I have SO many books I have adored and would love to re-read! I used to re-read my favorites a LOT but haven’t really since blogging because there’s SO many books. However, I really want to make it a point to re-read some of my absolute favorites this year. These are books close to my heart! Here are some that I hope to re-read this year!
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling: I’ve reread each of these books multiple times but not for years! I’m way overdue for a reread of this series!
The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffennegger: I have reread this book countless times and have sobbed my eyes out each time. Soul crushing but I love this story so hard.
Sabriel series by Garth Nix: I’ve been meaning to reread so I can read Clariel. That was back in October so, fail. This year for sure!
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas: I really want to reread the books before TOG4 comes out!
Love Me With Lies series by Tarryn Fisher: I had such a weird relationship with this series to start with because I almost didn’t like the first book and then ended up loving the series! I really want to read them all back to back so that I can get the full feels from it because there were times in Thief, the last book, that I was like ok I vaguely remember this but not fully. So I want to read them all together.
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkein: I went and watched the last Hobbit movie and while still enjoyable, it was very drawn out… I want to reread the Hobbit to remind myself what the book was like.
I like how I chose almost all series haha. So that’s a total of 18 books I want to reread. Some other ones may come up as the year goes on but these ones I want to reread for sure!
Flights of Fantasy Challenge hosted by Alexa at Alexa Loves Books and Rachel at Hello, Chelly
I was really excited when I saw Alexa and Rachel hosting this fantasy challenge! Fantasy is my first genre love and for some reason, I really didn’t read THAT much fantasy in 2014. I want to make it a point to read more fantasy this year and this challenge is perfect!
I want to aim for a total of 25 fantasy reads this year. I think that’s a doable and reasonable number. There’s quite a few fantasy series that I have not started yet and have been meaning to.
Series a Month Challenge hosted by Danielle at Love at First Page
There are a lot of series I want to read and just haven’t gotten around to it. I hope this will motivate me to tackle the series on my list!
I will update my progress on these challenges in my end of the month wrap up posts! Because, yes, one of my blogging resolutions of 2015 is to actually post these wrap up posts on time. 😉
So that’s it. Three challenges for 2015. Can’t wait to get started! 🙂
We should totally reread ToG and Sabriel together. I’ve been meaning to reread those books for Clariel too, but haven’t gotten around to it either. Fail. Let me know when you’re going to start and maybe we can do it together!
I signed up for the re-read challenge too, but I haven’t decided which books to read yet. The Harry Potter series is a great idea though; I haven’t read the full series in a few years, The Time Traveller’s Wife too.
Yay! I’m so glad you’ll be doing the A Series A Month challenge! Maybe we should try buddy reading a series this year. 🙂 I’m doing Flights of Fantasy too – I’m excited. 😀
