top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!

Happy Tuesday! This week’s topic is about which authors we’ve read the most books by! I always love seeing stats like this. Most of the time, if I loved an author’s particular book or series, I am that much more interested to explore their backlist or they become an auto-buy author where I don’t even read the synopsis anymore, I just get it. Granted, the only caveat here is some favorite authors don’t make this list since they are limited by the number of books they’ve published. 😉

Jennifer L. Armentrout: 25

Wow, 25?! I definitely went through a JLA phase and devoured everythinggg she wrote, ha. Ironically enough, I haven’t read any JLA books in years actually! She does have a few I’m still interested to check out, but I got a little burned out.

Jill Shalvis: 17

One of my favorite contemporary romance authors! She’s still got such a huge backlist I haven’t read yet!

Brandon Sanderson: 15

Okay, and I’m very proud of this because some of his books are VERY long so 15 doesn’t really reflect the number of pages I’ve read by him, ha. However, I am SO excited for the 4th Stormlight Archive book coming out THIS FALL! And despite how long his books are, he is still so prolific! It’s amazing! I’m constantly in awe.

Lisa Kleypas: 14

And there are still so many more I need to read from her! LOVE her so much!

Richelle Mead: 12

Both her series: Vampire Academy and Bloodlines! Gosh, I loved those two series so much. I’m still very intrigued by her adult series too and want to read that sometime!

Megan Erickson: 10

Totally surprised by this since I haven’t read anything by her in years! I definitely need to read some of her other romances still.

Maggie Stiefvater: 8

One of my favorite authors ever! <3

Kasie West: 8

I honestly loved her early YA contemporaries way better and haven’t felt motivated to read many of her later ones actually which is so sad. However, I would still love if she wrote something non-contemporary like Pivot Point which remains one of my absolute faves! Maybe that will happen one day??

Leigh Bardugo: 7

Don’t even ask me why I haven’t read King of Scars and Ninth House yet because I am ashamed!! SOON, okay, soon!

Tied: Kiersten White / Rae Carson / Miranda Kenneally: 6

Love all three of these authors and all of them I have unread books by them awaiting me on my TBR! Love them!

Who are your most read authors? Do we share any?

  1. I agree – my list today doesn’t necessarily reflect my favorite all-time authors, just my favorites who have published a lot of books. I also enjoy Kasie West, although I’ve only read a few of her books. Rae Carson is another author I really like, but I’ve only read the Gold Seer trilogy, not her other series. I’m also impressed you’ve read so many by Sanderson. His books are chunksters! I’ve read the Mistborn series, but that’s it by him.

    Happy TTT!

  2. 25??? I don’t think I’ve read any authors who wrote that many books haha We share Sanderson and Maggie Stiefvater, and I’ve only read 3 books by Leigh Bardugo. Haven’t read any of the others but I’ll check them out!
