Summer is right around the corner! Can you believe it? I’m beyond excited because Pacific NW in the summertime is BEAUTIFUL. I also am excited because better weather means backpacking season is back! I can’t wait to get back out there and check out new hikes and locations! Do you all have any summer plans whether it be travel or just a summer TBR plan?
Favorite Things in May:
I ran the Snohomish Women’s Half Marathon at the beginning of May and it was so much fun! I ran a PR (personal record) and it probably had something to do with the flat course but still I was pretty excited about it!
I also got to go to the Fierce Reads tour stop here in Seattle! I’ve never read Taran Matharu’s books and now I am very intrigued and need to check them out! Tricia Levenseller was so funny and I can’t wait to read Maureen Goo’s latest! I wasn’t a huge fan of Mary Pearson’s Remnant Chronicles series (I am literally the only black sheep on this series that I know of) HOWEVER, Dance of Thieves sounds so good. I think I’ll have to give it a chance and check it out when it releases!
